We know what your property should look like and we use the exact same end of lease cleaning checklist as your agents do. Please use this end of lease cleaning checklist as a guide. These items must be completed as a minimum and there may be other cleaning requirements specific to your property.

GENERAL CLEANING

All bedroom furniture/storage units will be cleaned inside and out. We have full range of cleaning services.

  • Floors : Vacuum and mop all floors, including under furniture and rugs.
  • Walls : Remove any marks, scuffs, and cobwebs from walls. Patch up any small holes or damage.
  • Windows : Clean all windows inside and out, including tracks and sills.
  • Light Fixtures : Dust and clean all light fittings and replace any burnt-out bulbs.
  • Skirting Boards : Dust and wipe down all skirting boards.
  • Ceilings : Remove any cobwebs from ceilings.
  • Doors : Wipe down doors, door frames, and handles.
  • Power Points & Light Switches : Wipe clean to remove any marks or fingerprints.

KITCHEN CLEANING

  • Oven : Clean the oven, including racks and trays, to remove grease and food residues.
  • Stove Top: Wipe down and clean the stove top, including burners and knobs.
  • Range Hood & Filters: Clean the range hood, including filters, to remove grease.
  • Cupboards & Drawers: Empty, wipe down, and clean all kitchen cupboards and drawers.
  • Sink: Clean the sink and tapware, removing any stains and polishing surfaces.
  • Benchtops: Wipe down and clean all benchtops.
  • Fridge & Freezer: Defrost, clean inside and out, and remove all food.
  • Dishwasher : Empty, clean the filter, and wipe down the exterior.

BATHROOM CLEANING

  • Wardrobes : Empty, clean inside, and wipe down doors and shelves
  • Blinds & Curtains : Dust and clean blinds, and wash or dry-clean curtains if necessary.
  • Carpets : Professionally steam clean carpets if required by the lease agreement.
  • Furniture : If the property is furnished, ensure all furniture is cleaned and placed back in its original position.

EXTERIOR AREAS

  • Gardening: Mow the lawn, weed garden beds, and remove any rubbish or debris.
  • Pathways & Driveways: Sweep and pressure wash if necessary.
  • Rubbish Bins: Empty and clean all rubbish bins.
  • Balcony/Patio: Sweep and clean any outdoor areas, including wiping down railings.

What Are Some Tips for Handling Moisture and Dampness in Winter?

ADDITIONAL CHECKS

  • Smoke Alarms : Ensure all smoke alarms are functioning and have fresh batteries.
  • Keys : Return all keys, including any copies, to the landlord or property manager.
  • Utilities : Arrange for the disconnection of utilities such as electricity, gas, and water.
  • Final Inspection : Arrange a final inspection with your landlord or property manager to review the property’s condition.
